Many of you wanted to know how to get the MPEG2 export to work righto off the timeline so you don’t have to go through compressor. It also works to export right out of Quicktime.

First, go to your apps folder and move DVD Studio Pro to the desktop.

Now, install DVD Studio Pro 3, except go to Custom and don’t install the iDVD templates or Compressor. You load only the app and the QT and MPEG2 components. Serialize, restart, repair permissions. Rename the DVD Studio Pro app in the Applications folder to DVD Studio Pro 3, then drag the one you put on the desktop back in there.

Voila…you know have the MPEG exporter you once enjoyed so much.
