    hello,

heres the issue, i’ll import the video and ill get this error (no audio or video stream) ill download quickplay and then premiere will allow me to import the video but its a Solid green frame that cant be played. this happened all of a sudden. i can’t edit any of my old projects (its like they have been infected).

so anyway i searched and searched and can’t come up with a solution. i’ve tried switching the mercury engine, i’ve tried turning off and on the pc and leaving it for a few days. i’ve tried uninstalling premiere and it’s preferences. graphics card driver is updated

i don’t remember installing any software aroud this time

this has happened to me before but formatting My PC helped. do i have to format my pc every time i get this issue?
