I’m a total mac guy but I need to find the cheapest software available on a PC that will allow people in my office to be able to view video I capture to ProRes. They will not be editing they just need to do paper timing of shows. So a good shuttle control of the file is a must as well as seeing the clips TC. I can load the ProRes codecs on their machine and they can watch the files with VLC or QT back that does not operate for this type of work.

I have Premiere Elements in mind but would love to have a program under $50 or less.

    Thanks for helping.

In Vegas you can add time code to the corner of your video and render a version for them as a reference file. It may not be the cheapest but this is a vegas forum. 🙂

Well you can export burned in TC in every NLE. I’m asking windows users if they know of any cheap software that has a good job and shuttle control and shows the clips time code.
