  • Software for audio file merge?

Posted by Domani_studios on September 7, 2007 at 3:26 pm

    Greetings,
I have a peculiar problem. I am working on a website where the user can record a song based off of 6 foundation tracks. Each track has 7 complimentary tracks the user can add to the foundation track…so the amount of output files needed is well over 200,000. I have all the source audio files, but was wondering if there is any software that will merge all the audio files together, saving me some time and sanity. Any sort of audio-combination-file merge software you can think of? Am I doomed to do all of this by hand?

Any resources would be greatly appreciated.

This sure doesn’t seem to be the correct forum to ask this question.

I’m a editor running FCP, and generally do my audio edits inside of FCP. Maybe I should have mentioned that before. But FCP dosen’t offer any batch processing for audio files….so I’m looking for some software that does.

I am not sure what you are actually trying to do but FCP is a rudimentary audio editing device. Don’t use it for this application.
