OK< I need the experts here. Begging for help here. I have a girl on green screen, shot on DVX100 (DV) Progressive. I decided to composite the footage in After Effects CS3. I exported reference quicktime movie to AE from FCP6. Used Keylight to composite and rendered it out high quality. Everything is fine. I watch the actual outputted file and it looks lovely, no problems. OK, here is the weird thing. I import the newly rendered file into FCP6 and drop it in the the timeline, I render it and play it. During the scene some of the footage goes soft, as if I'm putting an effect on it or something. It'll last about 15 seconds and then go back to the sharp footage. I'm going insane. Any ideas? Please help ca*******@*********rr.com

I have the same problem actually, I put a picture on the time line and shows up with a soft gaussian blur even though I didn’t put any effect. It’s a hi res picture. Why is it doing that?

Are you looking at the rendered output on a video monitor?

    All the best,

I’m not sure what you mean. I put jpeg on timeline then enter Command+R to render and it plays but it’s blurry.

I’m looking at it on my computer monitor, LCD. When I press play it’s blurry but when I press pause it becomes a hi res picture all of a sudden.
