Soft or discretionary hyphenation – How to question
Hi, I’ve been using Illustrator 8 and just downloaded the CS4 version. I’m using discretionary hyphens quite a bit and they just don’t work in CS4. I used to use ctrl+shift+-. I can’t find anything on that subject.
If the automatic hyphenation would work properly in my language (German) that would be ok but it only hyphenates some words and others not, even though the setting says hyphenate after 2 letters.
Sorry but I don’t get it… can anybody help before I pull all my hair out? I really think it’s about time to move to a CS version but I need to be able to use this feature.
