Working in FCP 5 on a G5 with dual Apple display. Radeon X800 XT card.

I have been noticing that windows and images left static for a short time (over 5 minutes) burn their image into my Apple Dual Display monitors. My system is only 1-year_old. I did some tests to issolate the problem:

    1. Brought the monitors to a different work station and the problem did not occur.
    2. Used different monitors on my workstation, and the problem still showed up.

So I don’t believe that the monitors are to blame. Could it be the video card or some other componenet in my G5? Could it be an electrical problem (we have been having gound loop issues lately and I am unaware if this can cause problems in monitors.)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Kevin
