Hey can anyone help me. I am onlining a half hour show in HD, which i do pretty regularly(twice a week). Some days i have no issues uprezing my footage but some days i do. It is like a crap shoot and has cost me time and money. I am digitizing to a raid using a Kona 2 card. I have gone into the raid admin and unchecked the host cache flushing. I have a a ton of space on the raid, and of course when i digitize i have no other programs running. I am at a loss for how to fix the problem. I just get a stupid dropped frames warning and an aborted capture. Tonight for example i had already digitized three tapes with no issues when this started happening. Please help me if you can.

We ALWAYS run with the “abort capture on dropped frames” OFF!!. We don”t trust it and we do some serious network fast turn-around stuff as well as scripted programming and documentaries. I never see dropped frames caused by the digitizing.
