Snow Plugin ?
Is there a site with free plugins for download (LEGALLY)? I’m looking for a simple snow effect. I tried the Boris free download , but it says the link is no longer there after I registered and tried downloading.

I am just finishing a feature which largely takes place in a blizzard.
I have a lot of snow material shot against black background with “Snow Business (sic) snow generators.
Majority of my stuff, shot specially for this movie, is of thick and driving snow. I do not have any light snow except for some swirling effects.
What exactly are you looking for? If you are in LA you can drop round and have a few feet for free.
I am currently the GREAT SNOW EXPERT – as you might imagine!

When I open up the snow emitter in motion, I can mess with the timing to make it last 60 seconds. And the snow is against a transparent background, which is the way I want to render it. I want to drop it on a 30 second video I’m doing. I don’t want to render the full 30 second video with cuts and graphics, then bring it into motion to render again with the snow emitter.
Like in Live Type, is there a way to render a movie with a transparent background so I can just drop the snow on top of the video on the FCP time line?
