    Hi,
We are creating a snow globe, and have tried various methods to make the particles in the globe. None of the particle systems we tried really give us the magical look of inside of a snow globe. We thought PI might give us a good look, but couldn’t quite come up with one. Anyone know of an emitter that might be close for us?

What about the “simple snow area 01” emitter in emitters_07_11 (nov 2007)?

Not only the emitter, you should try adding enough Deflectors (to create a circular barrier) and force fields to make the particle motion looks realistic within a sphere.
