Sniper composite.
Hello,
I am going to be editing a scene where a police sniper is tracking a suspect, and I am going to be cutting shots from 3rd to first person perspectives and wondered how good it would look to have a shot from the scope that displayed the relevant markings to composite over an infared style plate.
Is there anything like this available ?Thanks,

Are you suggesting a screen shot as an example of how to do this, or as something that can be incorporated in one’s own video?

Both are possible. He can either try to replicate it in Photoshop or just mask it out in photoshop.

A screen shot of a commercial video incorporated into one’s own video is clearly a copyright violation. It should not be done.

Call of Duty is not a commercial video… (it’s even not a video at all, although you still might be right about the copyright, Glenn should look into that for sure.)

I posted a similar post onto the Vegas pro forums and somebody offered me a photoshop finished image all ready to drop into the timeline, its just a matter of working out the parent relationship and the composite, as I am going to be altering the plate colour to represent either night sight or IR, the problem is now finding how to crop the sight and animate it as though it is actually tracking the target, as I cant find a circle tool in the crop, just the pen tool, its kinda messy outlining the sights.Thanks again,
