Smoothing bumpy slider shots?
I hope this is the right forum to ask this in… (Please pardon me if it isn’t!)
We’ve been shooting with a Glidetrack and a Konova slider recently (using a 5Dmkii and 7D), and while the results are usually good, sometimes our slider shots are a little bumpy due to a little dirt in the rails or vibrations from the tripod.
Are there any plugins or programs that can help make slider shots smoother? I haven’t had good results with FCP smoothcam, but I’ll try the warp smoother in AfterEffects this week.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Have you tried adding spray or chalk dust to your slider tracks- that can help smooth. Also weighing it down with sandbags or something else heavy. And also try out lenses with image stabilization.
