Smoothing a motion pan – how?
I have created a pan from left to right using motion. The scale is increased to allow scope for the pan. The centre key frame changes to accommodate the move.
At the moment this move starts abruptly and finishes abruptly I want it to start smoothly and end smoothly.
The manual would suggest a right click on the key frame allows this. But only the scale key frame allows this. So how is a smooth natural pan or any such move done?

Are you talking about using the Motion tab or the program Motion?

Under the motion tab.

Right click on the keyframe in the Canvas, not the motion tab. Choose Ease In/Ease Out

Thanks Kevin, but I tried that and it made no difference – the start of the pan and end were still abrupt.
