  • Smooth Attack Time In soundkeys Expression

    I Just solved an age old question for me here yesterday, thank you guys for the information 🙂

    I have one more thing that is escaping me, Is there a way, when using soundkeys to control something to adjust the “attack” time

    For example when the bass hits the value immediately jumps to a high level.

    There are plenty of options for falloff, but is there a way to “smooth” out the rate of increase for the value I am controlling with soundkeys?

    A simple expression im sure but I cannot even seem to find a place to begin learning AE expressions, there seems to be so much syntax and there is an underlying structure that would make it all simpler but I have not the picture yet, im just stumbling around like a blind man in a new hotel room.

    In BASIC it would go something like this

    x=timelast
    Y=currenttime
    z=Nexttime

    x+y+Z/3 or something like that… I don’t know high level maths which i’m sure is why scripting and programming have escaped me for so long.

    Thank you for your time 🙂
