Anyone have any luck creating smokey type that forms a word then puffs off. Have been experimenting with TP and TDEM but haven’t been able to get it fine enough. Trying to form a word from steam from a coffee cup. Just wondered if anyone had any ideas?

As much as I dig C4D’s particles, Trapcode’s Particular plug for After Effects would get the job done really really easily.. I know, wrong forum.. but you can texture map output from Particular to a flat plane or cylinder in C4D and get awesome results and fast render times… Also W/ C4D’s “save AE file” feature, you can make, say, a volcano in C4D, w/ cam moves and everything, then import the render into AE and automatically match the lava you create in Particular becuase it’s a 3D particle system.. Anyway, just some thoughts..
