  .SMI files wont capture entire slip Sony Exdcam EX-1

  I am capturing abunch of 59.94 clips using the sony transfer tool with FCP – both are the latest versions of software. One of my clips is .smi where as the rest are MPEG – only a portion of the clips is viewable and can be captured – what is this and can i repair it?

  any help would be greatly appreciated
