  I wanted to take a minute and give a thumbs up to the smcFanControl software.

  We put our 8-core online today, and temp monitor showed some ram and CPUs heating. We rest the fans to just under 1k rpm, which we could not hear in the production environment, and the temps immediately dropped.

  We will monitor how well smcFanControl at 1k works as well fully task the 8-core.
