  • Slowing The Speed of Rolling Credits

    First Question:
Is there a way to make the speed of the rolling credits go slower? I typed my rolling credits at the end of the film, rendered it and during playback I would like for a slower speed. The in and out points aren’t changing for me in the Viewer. Should I scrap it and create very wide in and out point before typing the credits or is there a set default speed based on how much info you type?

    Second Question:
When I place my cursor on the sequence in the time line, the arrow points only to the right. When I click on a clip in the sequence, various clips are highlighted. How do I get the cursor to allow me to highlight a particular clip when I select it. Is there something to deselect?

    Thank you.

[Terry Alexander] “The in and out points aren’t changing for me in the Viewer.”

You need to double-click the credits clip in the sequence to actually load it into the viewer. Then you can change the in/out points to make it scroll faster or slower. If your clip is loaded correctly in the viewer any changes you make there will be reflected in the Canvas and Timeline right away.

You have the track forward tool selected. Hit “A” for the selection tool. Then you’ll be able to select/highlight a single clip.
