  • Slowing down videos (Ctrl + Drag) doesn’t slow down audio

Posted by Alvin Down on November 29, 2014 at 4:40 am

    Hello!

So, I’ve got a few gameplay clips of a game using NVIDIA ShadowPlay, and I’m currently editing them.
The first few clips I’m editing; when I slow them down, it also slows down the audio. But the next few clips I’m editing, when I slow those down, the audio does not slow down. I can see that the audio track’s waves stretches, but it still plays at normal speed, which leads the out of sync audio from the video.

Why is this happening to only some specific clips?

    thank you.

[Alvin Down] “Why is this happening to only some specific clips?”

I have no idea. I can’t repro. Could you ensure that the Video and Audio is an actual GROUP, by FORCING both into a Group?

    Grazie

    Hi

Yeah I tried it, but it doesn’t work.

However, I fixed it by changing the Time stretch/Pitch shift Method to Classic, and now it works fine. https://puu.sh/daRYS/d75d0e8225.png
It seems that some of my clips don’t automatically put it into this method when time stretching, so I have to do it manually.

    Anyways, thank you.
