  • Slowing a clip’s speed makes it skip – how to fix?

Posted by Itchi23 on December 8, 2006 at 7:20 pm

Sometimes when I slow down a clip (between 50%-75%,) the slowed down clip will jerk or look like it’s skipping. Most of the time it happens with a clip that has a lot of camera movement. Is there a way to fix this, or is there a plugin that handles clip speed alteration better than the native Premiere process?

    Thanks!

Try exactly 50% or 75%. Also render preview files to preview.
