Slow!
I recently upgraded from premier 5.5 to CC. since then, my computer runs at a crawl if premiere is on. I can hardly get anything to work now. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it is just such a memory hog. I have and i7 processor with 9 gigs RAM running Windows 7 64 bit. That’s not the fastest machine in the world, but it should be able to handle premier. I checked the running processes on my machine and took out a few unnecessary items. I’m having to restart it all the time, and that only works until I open premiere. Is there anything I can try? I have given premier high priority, and that does not seem to do much either.

What graphics card are you running? What are the principle formats you are editing?
