Slow render with any Red Giant Software
I have a 24 inch iMac 2008. As of now it has 2GBs of RAM. Now when I ask this…I get a 50/50 answer. Im having problems now when opening projects and rendering. Upgrade to 4GB RAM, right? 2Gb+2GB?? They say 8GB would be useless…? Thanks in advance.

Hi Mike,
Rendering speed really comes from CPU and GPU is some cases.
More RAM will help with multicore CPUs, or multiple CPUs, but in the end, you just need more processing power.
My advice would be putting any money towards an upgrade to a MacPro, even a used one instead.
