Slow rampreview in Ae, render untouched dynamic link, aja output prem cs5
I have a couple of problems..maby i should split this into 3 threads.
1. Ae (cs5) plays rampreview realtime but it only goes to around 10 fps when aja lhe is “on”?
It did work in cs4. I have read that the aja plugin for after effect is buggy so that one is uninstalled but same slow ramplayback.2. When i use the dynamic link from premiere and send the clips to ae. If I switch back to premiere right away i need to render to playback (red renderbar). Does linked clips without any effect have to be rendered to get the yellow line over the clip. If you don’t have an cuda card of course.
3. How is aja supposed to work with premmiere? Do you have to use an aja timeline setting. Can you take another format on the timeline and still output by aja? Sorry Im used to final cut.
The workstation is a first generation 8 core with 8 gig ram, aja lhe, ati radeon hd 4870.
