  • Slow Motion & Frame Blending Question…

Posted by Michael Brodner on October 17, 2007 at 1:54 pm

Hey everyone I just wanted to know if this is something I did or what because I’m stumped. I use Apple+J to bring up the speed window and then I’ve slowed down my footage and have frame blending on. For the longest time I could see the frame blending taking place whenever I’d play back the clip but for some miraculous reason, I went back and played it and it is now in slow motion, with what looks like no frame blending, but it is still checked…and it is not that “strobe-looking” effect that occurs when frame blending is unchecked. It looks really really good. Did i accidentally push something to make it do this? Because this is the look I was going for. I personally dont enjoy that ghostly look frame blending gives when you slow footage down. I have no idea what happend here. Please help so I can continue to use this option for the future!
