  Slow Motion affect in Music Video being shot with XL2…a question?

  hello, I am going to be shooting a music video in a few weeks with the XL2 that will be edited in Final Cut Pro 5.0. We are trying to achieve the look of everything moving in a little slower timeframe yet the singers lips still synch with the song in post.

  How I will be shooting this video:
  16:9
  2:3:3:2
  24p

  Here is what I am trying to figure out.

  1. Should I shoot in 1/48 at 24p with the music on set playing at 200% then in post slowing it down. ?

  2. Should I shoot at 24p with a faster shutter speed to match the on set playback.

  3. What would be the best way to input this footage to FCP since the time is going to be off.
