I type the transcript our PBS show for closed captioning. I’m a fast typist but I want to know if there is a way to slow down my entire project to I can better keep up with it when typing. Even if the voice sounds weird, that would be OK.
    Thanks

At the bottom left of the timeline, where you see Rate 0.00,
you will see a small orange triangle, drag it just a slight
bit to the left until you get the pace you can work with.

I’ve tried that and I can make it go faster but when I move it to go slower, it snaps back to normal speed.

Thats because you are dragging it too far.
Drag it at 0.50 and then press play and see.
Or better yet, double click on the Rate and
    type in 0.50 etc.
