Slow Mo a 4 second clip shot at 30fps to 8 seconds
Hi,
I want to make sure I am doing this the right way and this is the best way to do this.
I was handed some footage.
The main camera was shot in 30fps
The second camera was shot in 60fps.
I dropped the first clip, which was from the main camera, on a sequence and it asked me if I want to changed the settings to the clip settings? I clicked yes and the sequence changed to 30fps 1920 x 1080.
It was a 4 second clip. I want to slo mo it. Here is what I did.
1- I right clicked on the clip in the timeline.
2- I hit Speed/Duration
3- A pop up box came up.
4- I changed the speed to 50% (it’s now 8 seconds)
5- I then changed the interpolation to Optical Flow.
5 – I rendered that clip o the timeline and played it back.
6 – It looked great.

Yes, from the timeline in Premiere Pro, that’s how you do the slow-mo.
As for changing the sequence to 1080/30, that depends upon what you wanted for your final product. If you want your finished work to be 1080/30, you’re all set.
