Activity Forums Avid Media Composer Slow export

    I’m guessing here from looking at your timeline – I couldn’t tell if the filler/top track was rendered.

    If it’s not, Avid has to render it as it exports your file. If you rendered it first, your export should be faster. Also, same as source is mostly beneficial in export speed when all the video matches the render type…

    The fastest export would be to do a QuickTime ref, and use Squeeze to compress into multiple formats.
