  Slow export on fast machine

  Hi,

  Im running Avid, After Effects and Davinci (not necessarily together) on a z820.
  I have a Q4000 for Avid and a GTX690 for Davinci .

  It is pretty slow when exporting from Avid compared to my old mac.
  Why is that?

  My Raidon-raid is connected with a E-sata card, is USB3 better?
  I output on a decklink card.
  The processors is Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU ES-2640 0 @ 2.50Ghz (2 processors), but I have only installed 16GB ram. Is the amount of ram the reason?

  Its running windows 7.
