Slow Clock Speed on Dell 5820, Intel Xeon W-2175
So I’ve purchased dell workstation 6 months ago and its working fine no issues, but since I’ve purchased that Workstation i saw processor is not working fine while rendering something.
For some reasons processing speed has to be 4.3ghz while its using 1-2 cores in after effects because after effects use clock speed more that cores but its speed was 3.3-3.6 something so i how to fix that?
Specs are
Dell Precision tower 5820
CPU- Xeon-W2175
RAM-64GB
Graphic Card – Quadro P5000
Storage – Lacie 6big 24TB
OS drive – Intel Enterprises Class SSD
Cache Drive – NVMe SAMSUNG SM961

i think problem with processor or other things that not letting boost system to the higher clock speed.

You can check your power profile and check the min and max speed of your cpu, you might want to start there. Some power saving profiles will limit the max speed or stop it from boosting.
