I’ve built a slideshow using JPEG images and some text in FCP, and they are looking “scratchy” or not as clean and crisp when in iPhoto…..is there a specific setting in compressor or QT conversion that will bring them back to look like they did originally when I transfered them from the camera..?

    Thanks for your time….

They will never look as high res as in iPhoto. Video has much less resolution, always, plus less color range and less dpi. Are you looking at this on an interlace CRT monitor? What resolution is the project in, HD,SD,DV? If you wanted to do a slide show with high res look at Powerpoint(yuck!) or Keynote from Apple.

    Hope this helps-
