Slide Transfer
Looking for a reputable lab to transfer some old slides to a digital format. Suggestions?

You might actually want to check with Costco if there’s one near you. They actually do a pretty decent job at the home movie and photo level. In the past I’ve done this myself with a Canon scanner that includes a slide attachment. This is the best approach because of the amount of clean-up required. Scan the slides and then take the TIFFs into Lightroom or Aperture for correction/dust-busting.
