Hi mike I am still having the problem with adobe preimere or encore I am not sure which but in building a slide show in preimere everything works find in the monitor window but when i encode the project and then import it into encore the first picture and almost every picture after the transition only shows for about 1-1/2 second even though the duration is 9 seconds the speed is 100.00% it just started doing this and I was wondering what is causing this and maybe some setting could have possible been changed that would cause this. I have done many slide shows on this computer and never had this problem before and don’t know what else to do. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    I’d do a little experimentation.

Make a video of only 5 pictures and see if you have the same problem.

I’d also consider downsizing your pictures so that Premiere doesn’t have to work so hard. If you’re working with 8 megapixel pictures, Premiere might be having trouble.

You can use Photoshop to reduce all their size to 720×480.

Another option is to just use Encore to make the video.
You don’t need Premiere unless you want greater control.
