Hi I am building a slide show to put on DVD with encore Ihave done this many times and not had a problem everything worked smoothly untill now After importing the still pics into the timeline of preimere pro 1.5 which are cropped to 720 x480 I build the title insert it 1st and the remaining pictures with a transition between the title and 1st picture also a transititon between pictures for song #2 and so on to end of project. It plays fine in preimere but when encoded and burned to disk or preived in encore thetitle and transition show but it skips 1st picture after each transition each picture is 720×480 Speed is 100.00% and duration is 9 seconds I would appreciate any help. Thinking workaround;
Position the work area bar over the first 20 or 30 seconds of your timeline and export a DV.avi of the work area. Overlay this rendered movie over the beginning of your movie and export as Mpeg 2 DVD. -
Hi Mike I tried what you told me to do and that did not help. I have not had this problem up untill now. I rebuilt the same slide show on another computer and it still does the same thing when it is played from the time line in preimere it plays fine but when encoded as movie and imported as asset in encore in preivew or burned to disk after some of the transitions the first picture duration is only about 1-2/2 seconds long but when I look at the actual duration it is 9 seconds long with a speed of 100.oo%. Could some settings have been changed? also I noticed that when I change the duration of that slide so that it plays longer it changes some of the slide durations futher down the project. Help!!!! Thanks.
