    Hi, all. I need to do Sky Replacement for a project. Is there any good comprehensive tutorial? The sky I need to replace has Tree and building. the shot also has camera movement.
    Please help!, Yoshi.

    you could try keying the sky if its a nice clear day.
    I’m guessin you don’t want to roto cause of the trees.

    but if you can key most of the blue around the trees you can do some rough rotos…
    other then that…i can’t think of any other ways really

    I’ve had to do this for a 10 second shot.

    What a pain it was! It was an overcast day and I had the exact same situation as Yoshi.

    Basically what I did was I exported the entire shot as a .flm file, imported into Photoshop and colored the sky greenscreen green for every frame and then went and filled in every extra pixel by hand. The biggest issue I encountered were the fields… noticed after awhile that stuff wasn’t matching up and cause alot of jittering. So I fixed that with some well placed copy and pasting. After about 30-40 hours of work, my sky came out pretty well.

    But, all in all, good luck mate. Its REALLY hard to do with a moving camera.
