I am doing some camera mapping in cinema 4d. I have my tiff sequence in a material on my background. I have one 3d word in the scene and I want the scene to be illuminated using the sky object. When I add the sky object the scene disappears except for the text and the plane for the shadow. Your thought?

So to fix this problem I actually added two more planes to my scene and gave them the same material with my image sequence and composite tag. I don’t understand but it worked.

I’m assuming you’re using the sky from the Objects>create sky menu and not the objects>scene>sky object. If so, all you have to do is turn off “sky” in the sky object’s basic tab.
