Skipping Sound on HDE
Okay here is one for the books. I just tried to record a voice over into the Media 100 HDE through the AJA board. When I monitor during recording the voice is fine, but on playback the voice skips every 2-5 seconds. I

Are you recording straight into the system, or recording onto tape first?

I remember seeing a similar post to this earlier when some one was trying to record audio only – I think you still will need to have a valid video signal being fed into your breakout box, even if your not actually acquiring video.
