  • Skipped frames when exporting

    FCP 7.0.3
    OS X 10.6.7
    Sequence XDCAM EX 1080 30p (35 Mpbs/VRB)

I have a nest at the end of my program that includes a video on V1, and PNG files on V2 > V5.

When I watch the video (frame by frame) it is constant.
When export to QuickTime, the video skips a frame (or 2 – not sure).

The program is 3:30 long and this happens in the last 10 seconds.
When I just export the end, it still happens, but not in the same place.

I’ve never had this happen before. The video is a Stock Footage clip that was JPEG format. I converted it to PRO RES to edit.

Has anyone else experienced something like this?
Any suggestions on solving the problem.
I repaired permissions, trashed preferences, shut down and rebooted.

**** I just tried converting the footage to XDCAM HD 1080p.
I replaced the PRO RES version with this one and it seems to work.

Still wondering if anyone else has ever seen this.

    Thanks,

    David
