    Hi!
I’m exporting a quicktime sequence from AE at 720X480 DV to bring over to Final Cut. Unfortunetly when I do this, the entire sequence is squished inward, making the image appear tight and taller than it appears in AE. This is strange to me because both are set to 720 X 480. Why does the dimension appear to change when I bring my quicktime into Final Cut?
    Any info would be great!!
    Thanks,
    Holly

Your AE comp should have used the DV 720×480 preset size with non-square pixels.

If it then looks too wide in AE, use pixel aspect ratio correction in the comp window. Switch it off when rendering.

That’s one way to do it, anyway.
