  SIZE of FOOTAGE in VIEWER and CANVAS Windows

  I have pre-shot footage from a Canon Rebel T21. When I drag and drop the footage into the project folder and then click on a shot, the viewer displays the footage sluggishly and is zoomed in too closely. Of course when i make in and out points and drag footage to the caves the system automatically adjusts for correct clip settings. But, can i make the footage fill up viewer and canvas windows or is this the size it must be? When i used other kinds of video, it filled up both the viewer and canvas window. Right now i’m watching this footage in the viewer window at 25 percent and canvas at 35 percent. is there a setting that will correct this?

  Second question, will viewing the footage at a smaller size affect the size when burnt to a dvd?
