Single input, multiple output & formats
I am recording Dance recitals which are being critiqued by three judges who will be on wireless mics. I need to be able to capture the actual dance with the audience & music while recording to DV tapes. I am using a Canon GL2 and Premier Pro CS3.
What I need to do is the following:
Create an AVI file for editing off-site.
Create three (3) mpgs on-site for EACH dance routine where each MPEG has the vocal of one of the judges. Ideally if I can do this on-the-fly or as concurrent with the avi capture, that would be ideal.I’m thinking that Premiere may be part of the solution, but dont know what else i need to make this all happen. Maybe there is some other hardward I’ll need or maybe After effects can be used. Is this somethign AVID could do?

The situation is not fully clear to me. Maybe it is possible to record the sound of the 3 judges with a multichannel digital recorder and edit for each dance recital the DV material. Make 3 copies of the edit and put the sound of each judge to each copy. Then make mpgs of each copy.
