Single GTX 1080 vs dual GTX 1080 cards
Hi, I’m building a new machine and wondering if anyone has done any tests or has any opinons on one GTX 1080i vs dual GTX 1080’s The mobo I’m using can support dual cards at full capacity so I was thinking that the price difference would be worth it if there’s a significant performance increase. I’m working more and more with 4k+ material and a mix of r3d, prores and xavc source material.

If that means some implementation of SLI, you’re not on the right track. Irrelevant to Resolve.
But two are better than one. Resolve Studio will use every resource it can find.
