    Hello guys,

I want to animate a sine wave effect similar to the music videos below

arcric monkeys – do i wanna know?

I’m playing around in the sine wave effect in ae, however the center of the wave is either sides of the line and not the center, therefore when adding width, as in more waves, they are added from one side only and not both. Is there a way to achieve that effect by either using sine wave effect, or maybe something else?

    Thank you,

I’ve tried a few options in AE and never got it to work the way I could in Maya.
Here is a tutorial using RAMPS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4tqbUcN_Hs
    Maybe that route will help.
Also best to use Trapcodes Sound Keys.
