simultaneous SD and HD monitoring?
i want to have a setup where i can have simultaneous SD and HD monitoring. mainly editing dvcpro HD. i was looking at getting the decklink HD and the HD Link to get HD monitoring on a dell 2405FPW, but is it possible to have an SD monitor of the same signal to a sony PVM CRT. what about through firewire to a dv deck to the pvm? or do i need to have the panasonic 1200 deck? or is there a higher end decklink card that supports this? i know that the Kona 2 supports this, but it’s a little pricier.

If your SD monitor suports SDI then you could use the expensive 4:4:4 HD pro card this has an option to output HD-SDI from first channel and SD-SDI from the second
