Is it possible in Vegas Pro 8 to simultaneously pan and zoom several tracks whilst maintaining the size ratios between them, without some nifty keyframing?
    For example:
Track 1: jpg of a room with a television, with the screen masked out to show:
Track 2: Green-screened “family news presenter” against
    Track 3: Background video.
I would now like to zoom out from the c/u TV screen to show more of the room, and then pan to another object in the room with the TV screen still visible in the distance, with the news programme continuing.

You can add an additional empty track above the others and then make the other tracks children of the top “parent” track. Then use Parent Motion on the top track (which becomes available only after making the other tracks children) to move all of the child tracks together.

Thanks, John. That is exactly what I was looking for – and so much easier than keyframing!
