    Hey

I’m looking for a simple, fast way of making a still-frame to “draw” itself into an After Effects composition. The particualr fram I’m working on is a sketched drawing in black and white. I don’t want to mask out and make the drawing appear, as that is simply to time-consuming for the job at hand.

My guess is that there is some plug-in out there that I don’t know about which does exactly this: make a small animation that draws the still on there. I don’t need parameters for customisation, I just need a simple effect for a short clip.

    Can anybody help???

    Thanks,

    Michael Panduro

you can use the write on effect to reveal image…or use paint to paint a black and white comp to use as a matte for the frame, somewhat time consuming either way, if your lookin for a quickie instead of line by line just use a few larger feathered masks or created matte to reveal chunks of the image at a time.
