Hi….how can I simulate in After FX a simple OuterGlow effect like Photoshop. I tried importing a PSD File, and it created a effect called Photoshp Outter glow, but it’s not the same……any ideas?

    how about the glow effect…

threshold, radius and intensity to suit
    composite original: on top
    glow colors: a & b colors
    color looping: sawtooth b>a
    color a: yellow
    color b: black

i didn’t compare directly to photoshop preset, but it seemed close.

Or, add a drop shadow that’s yellow or white with no distance and a lot of softness. If it’s not strong enough, just duplicate the effect….

    hope this helps,
