    Hi,

2 sdi decks. 1 decklink card. We need some kind of simple 2 x 1 sdi switch to swap decks without crawling on the floor to switch cables…

Any suggestions? There are a number of routing switchers out there but these seem like overkill as we do no need to make clean switches between signals…

    Thanks,

    Jason

Here’s a nifty unit by Gefen with a remote control:

Thanks for the reference.. I appreciate the try. Almost $1500 for that one.. There must be a simple gadget out there somewhere that allows simple selection between sources… I don’t need seamless switching…

Do a google search for SDI 2×1… here’s another one:

Why not make a patchpanel on your own ?
Decklink SDI in / SDI out, Deck 1 SDI in / SDI out, Deck 2 SDI in / SDI out.
All BNC connectors. Will cost you 50 $ or so.

https://www.markertek.com might have something suitable. They do have pre-built or custom patchbays. (no personal affiliation w/ them, just a customer)
