    Simple question re: Decklink SP & iMovie

    Hi,

    I’ve read everything I can find but still can’t determine this:

    Is it possible to use the Decklink SP card to capture directly into iMovie &/or iMovie HD?

    Or do I have to capture using FCP and then dump the footage to iMovie via Quicktime clips?

    Hi,

    I think you’re only limited to DV or HDV (using Apple Intermediate Codec) clips in iMovie. It also does not support capture using 3rd party hardware. But why use iMovie when you have FCP?
