Simple Masking Problem
Hi guys, I think I’m just being stupid, but I’m trying to mask out both images in this Daguerrotype to use as an overlaid frame for 2 videos. So I want to get rid of the 2 girls and have a transparent background, so I can stick some videos in there.
I’m sure it’s the simplest of tasks, but when I put 2 masks on the same image it reveals the other side if it’s inverted or vice versa. Makes sense really. What obvious method am I not understanding here? Any suggestions much appreciated! Thanks!Lewis

Don’t invert your add mask, instead make it a subtract mask

I worked it out!
Locked the first mask and changed the blending mode on the other one and it was fine.
Hope nobody wasted 30 seconds reading this!🙂
